When using Online booking, you may want to capture patient ID numbers, for example, passport number, NHS number etc.

To do this, you will need to ensure you have your Patient ID numbers set up.

Firstly, go to "Settings" and select "Patient settings". Click the 'add number' option in order to set up a new ID number, as below:

Type the name of the customised ID number which you want to add (e.g Passport Number). Once you're happy with your text, go ahead and click the "โœ“" on the right as below:

Next, go to "Settings" and select "Online booking". To create a new online booking link, click 'New':

Any ID numbers you have added to your "Patient settings" will appear within the "Patient form settings" section. These ID numbers are automatically set to be hidden so if you would like to have these appear, do kindly ensure you untick the box on the right hand side:

When you have finished editing your online booking, click "Save":

When making an online booking, the patient will see a section similar to the below to enter their ID number, in this example, Passport number:

The ID number entered by the patient will be saved within their patient file. To see this go to "Patients" and click on the edit icon in the top right hand corner as below:

Scroll down until you see "ID numbers" as below:
