You may want to add your patient's passport number to their record to appear on their summary page or to pull into letters.
In order to do this, click "Settings" at the top of your page and then "Patient settings" on the left and you will see the page below:
This is where you can create different ID numbers in your system.
To create the option to add a passport number to your patient record, click "Add number":
In the ID number field type "Passport number" or a title of your choice and click the tick to save this:
You will now see "Passport number" in your saved ID Numbers. If you click the "..." at the side as circled below you will be able to "Delete" or "Make primary" which means that the passport number will be visible on the top of the patient summary page, if added:
To add a passport number to the patient record, go to "Patients" and select the patient for whom you would like to add the passport number. Click on the edit icon in the top right hand corner as below:
Scroll down until you see "ID numbers" section as below and enter the passport number for this particular patient. Click the blue "Save" button at the top of the page:
You will now be able to see the passport number on the summary page in the "Patient IDs" section:
If the passport number was made 'Primary' in the "Patient settings" this will appear on at the top of the summary page like below:
